Rebecca Rainwater, is an experienced family law attorney and founder of Rainwater Family Law, who provides legal services for the full range of family law matters including divorce, legal separation, spousal support, child custody, child support, adoption and other family law matters utilizing Litigation, Mediation and Collaborative Law.

While the vast majority of family law cases settle before trial, meticulous case preparation is essential to our ability to achieve favorable results. Our firm has well established relationships with experts in the areas of custody evaluation, financial planning, psychology and property appraisal.

The heart of our practice is dedicated to helping families resolve disputes respectfully using non-adersarial approaches such as Mediation and Collaborative Law. These models are client-centered, out-of-court options, which allow the best interests of the family to always remain in the forefront.  Collaborative Divorce allows the parties to have more control over the decisions and agreements they make without the fear of having a judge impose their will upon your family. However, not all collaborative attorneys are alike. It is important to seek out an attorney who is knowledgeable about divorce law and who is also trained in Collaborative Law and negotiation. Rebecca Rainwater is a trained collaborative attorney and a skilled mediator who studied at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law. Rainwater Family Law can competently guide you and your family through a difficult and emotional divorce while also protecting your rights and ensuring future relationships with your children and the other parent are not damaged in the process.
